Benefits

Used to treat strongyloidiasis (intestinal infection) and onchocerciasis (river blindness). Effective against scabies and head lice infestations. Works by paralyzing and killing the worms, helping the body eliminate them naturally. Provides long-lasting protection from reinfection when taken as prescribed.

Dosage

Standard adult dose: 200 mcg per kg body weight, taken as a single dose. Can be taken with or without food; a full glass of water is recommended. For skin infections like scabies, a second dose after 7–14 days may be prescribed. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Side Effects

Common: Mild itching, nausea, dizziness, or diarrhea. Occasional: Fatigue or muscle pain. Serious (rare): Allergic swelling, rapid heartbeat, or confusion — seek medical advice promptly.

⚠️ Precaution

Consult your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or neurological disorders. Avoid alcohol during and 48 hours after taking the medicine. Drink plenty of fluids to help flush out dead parasites. May cause drowsiness — avoid driving or operating heavy machinery immediately after consumption.
