Benefits

Used to treat and prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Helps strengthen bones and reduce risk of fractures. Increases bone mineral density by slowing down bone loss. Recommended for osteopenia or steroid-induced bone weakness.

Dosage

Typical dose: One tablet once a month on an empty stomach. Take with a full glass of plain water. Remain upright for at least 1 hour after taking the tablet to prevent stomach irritation.

Side Effects

Common: Heartburn, indigestion, or mild muscle pain. Occasional: Back pain, joint stiffness, or flu-like symptoms. Serious (rare): Jaw pain, difficulty swallowing — requires medical advice.
