Benefits

Used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart failure. Helps in managing angina (chest pain) and irregular heartbeat. Improves heart function and oxygen flow in cardiac patients.

Dosage

Recommended dose: 1 tablet (5mg) once daily or as prescribed. Should be taken at the same time every day. Swallow whole with water, do not crush or chew.

Side Effects

Common: Fatigue, dizziness, slow heartbeat. Occasional: Nausea, cold extremities, or headache. Serious (rare): Fainting, shortness of breath — consult your doctor immediately.

⚠️ Precaution

Avoid sudden discontinuation — may worsen heart conditions. Use with caution in patients with diabetes or thyroid disorders. Avoid alcohol; it can intensify blood pressure–lowering effects. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and pulse rate is advised.
